OUR HISTORY

LIONS CLUB OF PENANG TANJUNG STAR, DISTRICT 308 B2 REGION 1 ZONE 3.

Lions Club of Penang Tanjung Star was chartered on 29^th February 2016 which is on a very special occasion. And the Charter President was a young and energetic guy none other than Lion Raymin Yew, he was an ex-Leo member from Alpha, Omega and a District President. After he completed the journey in Leo, he furthers his milestone by chartering the Lions Club of Tanjung Star.

Lions Club of Penang Tanjung Star make history as we have the most chartered members (total of 46 charter members) in collaboration between 3 different groups from (1) Ex-Leo members from Leo Club of Tanjung, (2) Children of the members from Lions Club of Tanjung, and (3) Chung Ling High School Alumni Year 1986 and together with a group of friends from cycling team. We have served and the club has been organized at least one program every month without fail for the community, and our annual projects or so-called the Signature Activity are included Ride for Sight, Donation of school bags for the Needy, Free Eyes Examination/Screening program, Feed the Hunger and Diabetes Awareness program.
